--A YA/tween writer trying to find my place in the big publishing world. Think of the opening credits for the Mary Tyler Moore show (or is it Gidget?), where she's standing in the middle of the city and throws her hat in the air. That's me, minus the perkiness and coordinating outfit.

--My tween novel, PRINCESS 4 HIRE, about a girl who takes a job substituting for princesses around the world, will be out in submission soon!
--Nevada high school female pie eating champ- that's not the official title but man it sounds impressive. I still gag when I smell cinnamon apples which is tragic because basically every Thanksgiving is tainted. Why couldn't they have used rhubarb?
--Las Vegas native. My maiden name is Newton in case you're wondering (yeah, that one is a lie and I never really got the Wayne Newton thing anyway. Actually, I crushed on Seigfried when I was little until I learned that Roy was more his type)
--TOTAL show-off. I memorized a dance on that stupid arcade game, Dance Dance Revolution(DDR for the die hards) so I could impress my sister's high school friends. It didn't work. So this whole blog thing is another perfect means of obtaining attention. Look at me! Read me! Love me!
